If reward points are "lethal" at Caesars properties, then I wouldn't want them...lol Kidding aside, it gives you a lot, but hedging the come/don't come should be costing your friend a lot more than the value of 7 Stars perks, unless they have the machine set very, very wrong. I highly doubt it is set wrong, hence, the "moron" comment from bpb.

Heres where the catch is there is Xtimes coupons and so on and then bonus points at levels. So lets say he has a 10x coupon for points that day and he gets his points to 2500 which now caesers gives you 5000 bonus points so now you have 7500 tier points and 27,500 reward points for the day. Also the perks of a 7 star are worth 10-15k for a year.

The St. Louis Ameristar had this game for about two months last fall. It was shut down three times over that period. First time because the casino was losing money and lots of it from what I hear. Second time it was because customers complained it was rigged. One guy claimed to have recorded 28 straight points that all ended with just one roll after the point was set. After it re-opened, it was finally shut down again because the machine had three straight 75+ rolls that cost the casino some major bucks.

I live in south florida and discovered "the machine" at Seminole Coconut creek. After a month of running good, I gave it all back plus a couple of bucks...
Thoughts.....
1. I have sat for hours making friends and having a great time.
2. No worries about dice off the table, dealer mistakes, disgruntled boxmen, or tippin.
3. Noone interferes with a hot roll by slowing fown game with a midroll buyin.
4.Great comps with free concert tickets and more food than you food than you could want.
5.Noticed that you never get those very hot rolls that we all have seen live....more of a Don't betters pasaradis
e
6.saved a ton on airfare, hotels and taxis

All considered I say put your money on the table boys....who wants dem hardways?

Plyed this on recent vega trip at a few places... Very different bet limits and odds.

Casino royale had $1 betting no comps, and 5x odds, u were also able to add money to the pass line after the roll and than re-add odds, if u hit rolled a 6 or 8 on the pass...

Excalibur had a $2 machine but only 3x odds on 6 and 8..

Harrahs/Quad had $3 machine with 3x odds, and u recieved a point/tier credit i think for every $40 you rolled through I believe..

Positives,

-Lo limits,
- comp drinks
- possible comps on card
- no tipping
- You can hit n run, and cash out and come right back if that;'s your thing.

Saw a few 20+ rolls at the casino royale machine... It's located in the back by subway food court..

Didn't play a ton but was up $120 by hitting a lot of 6 and 8 pass line points...

On the Harrah's machine, do you get comps on the odds bets?

There is about 9 seats surrounding a big box with two big dice in it. Each player has there own computer screen with a craps layout. Each player gets to "shoot" the dice but you push a button down which makes the dice bounce. Kinda like the board game trouble.

I would think it would be worth it to play these since you wouldn't have to tip the dealers. Also you could bet the "don't pass" and don't have to worry about others being mad at you. As nobody gets to see what your bets are.

It's $1 min wager. $4 of play = 3 comp points.
This is a great game. Where I go to play it, it has mostly $5 minimum tables.
But it not only has the 9 or so tables at that pod, the whole length of the bar nearby is similarly equipped. It not only features Craps with the giant dice, but also has Baccarat and Sic Bo, Roulette. The actual robotic roulette wheel is at the opposite end of the Craps pod. Screens galore at this mid-Atlantic casino.

The individual screen shows not only the normal layout, but has a dice roll history screen. Slot for card to accum. points.

The last time I was in Vegas there was a combo live/electronic craps table at Bill's. Electronic betting stations around a real craps table with the shooters using live dice. Are these still in existence anywhere?

I Love these machines! Went on quite a few streaks on it. It is nice not having to talk to anybody while placing bets/taking them off either!

Does every casino on the strip have these machines? If not, which casinos on the strip do have them? I will be staying at the MC in less than 3wks, do they have one there?

On that end I believe Monte Carlo has at least one, want to say Excalibur and/or NYNY did too. Don't remember Luxor having one. Harrah's does (did), and I want to say so does the Quad.

My Vegas trip is a little blurry (curse you, free liquor!) so I could be making all of that up.

Thanks for the info!

Does anyone know what the max bet is on these machines? Or does it differ from machine to machine?

My problem with these is you don't have much time to place bets.

On the come out I like to have craps hopping w/ 3 way red, horn high ace deuce, and of course the pass line. takes me some time to get this bet laid out...

Max bet is up there. I know there are $100 check options...
