I've seen this machine at quite a few casinos in las vegas in the past month. in addition to the MGM, Mandalay Bay and luxor both have the machine. The mandalay bay machine does not comp points. The gold strike in jean also has it.

This seems like the worst game ever invented. I'd rather enter the shin-kicking contest in the UK for no prize money.

You do realize slot revenue (10-14% house edge) outweighs all other revenue in most casinos right? Most casino patrons are "hardcore gamblers".

And I don't think any CET properties have it in Vegas, Daniel, but I haven't been in Vegas for a few months either.

Poker-snobbery aside....

1) You can sit down at a craps machine, which is cool if you don't feel like standing up.

2) In some casinos the free odds and prop bet odds are better than their live crap games.

3) You can drink for free+tips while betting $1 instead of $5 (or whatever the live table minimum is).

4) The machines offer fractional payouts so you can, for example, place the 6 or 8 for $1 to win $1.16 instead of having to bet $6 to win $7 (or $5 to win $5).

Did the slot finder on CET site and looks like flamingo has one. If you get points like slots it's great if not it's crap,no pun intended.

For CET properties, it's likely you'll get video poker comp points (1 Reward Credit per $10 wagered) on the craps machine. I received this rate for the HU Limit Hold'em Machine that kicked my ass twice (Stay Away!!) and video blackjack with the dealers that have ugly faces but nice boobies.

And the fact that Flamingo has this makes me love the place even more. Great machine to gamble on for cheap, and it's likely waitresses will walk by it frequently. They definitely did for the machine at the Mirage.

noticed the same thing with "sic-bo" sometimes the dice shake forever other times they barely move. Best of sticking to the real thing.

almost every single casino has one of these things

I like both the normal table version and this one for different reasons

this. watched my friend play through a $20 and run it up to $60

- way lower limits than on the table
- free odds are maxed @ 3x no matter the point, which really blows
- anime announcer chick's voice is super annoying

def gonna degen one next time

Played this game at a couple of the Station properties as well; my dad and I both threw $20 in and cashed out a couple hundred -- this old guy was the shooter for most of the entire time on one of the sessions, and it seemed like he couldn't seven out unless it had been at least 20-25 rolls without hitting his point. He had a streak going of at least 15-20 points hit, as well.

If you can determine a quasi-reliable way of relating the dice position to the timing of the button press to derive a leveraged result, apparently you can really clean up on this game. Virtual dice-setting by feel, if you will.

The craps table usually has people running it, and people sometimes make mistakes, especially with a high-motion-high-noise game like craps. I welcome the digital version, it's a wonderfully fun and efficient way to kill time/get drunk/avoid the crowded hectic scene around a normal craps table during a busy shift. If you can get into a groove and the dice are hitting, you're making money no matter what -- why not?

Dealer mistakes are a good thing. Correct them when they are against you and keep your mouth shut when they are in your favor. Now I'm sure somebody will tell me I'm a degenerate thief for not correcting mistakes in my favor. I don't care.

I saw this at El Dorado in Reno. It's good for older people who don't want to stand the whole time, cheap people who want to bet $1, and Don't Pass bettors. The repetitive voice can drive you crazy.

The most entertaining part was watching people write down the rolls and scramble to look up the data while trying to bet before the cutoff. It didn't work for them. Also there was an old guy betting $1 on both Pass and Don't Pass then occasionally taking odds after the point was set.

I've played one at Monte Carlo and one at New York New York. Both did not give any rewards, but they were very good with drink service. I'm guessing that all Mlife properties do not give rewards for these machines but other companies might

As of the last time I played them (Dec. 2012), it was $45 wagered per point. So yes, they give points, but not a lot. If you're going for 7 stars, playing 9/6 JoB is a better (but more swingy) bet.

They have one at the Hard Rock in Ft. Lauderdale but no real craps. The video version just doesn't give me the same buzz as the real game for some reason. One night the two dice landed on top of each other and the machine totally freaked out. It took about 20 minutes for someone to show up and they had to turn off and totally reboot the machine.

I absolutely love the sic-bo although it is definitely a degenerate game. Has anybody ever played non-video sic-bo? That has to be a wild game.
