Situation:
Friend at work gave me 100 dollars to gamble with on whatever game I wanted. What would you pick? I was thinking dollar slots or maybe roulette?

Thought about giving her 1% of main event buy in but I don't sell pieces of my action. Maybe next year I will.
Goal: I would like to at least double her money.

Just wondering what others do/have done.
In the past I took 20 bucks for someone.. Ran it through slots once and came out with 50. So they were happy.

If you regularly buy into 10K events but don't like selling action why don't you just give her x% of some cash game session of yours. If you're playing 10/20 and buying in for 2K give her 5% of a session. At least you'll have a story for her better than, "I put it in a slot machine, uh...it didn't happen".

If not go put it on Player in honor of SheetWise.

Tell her sorry it didn't work out and pocket the cash. Valuable lesson about the evil of gambling and it only cost the $100.

I always play roulette with birthdays. Play her birthday, your birthday, maybe the 4th of July for the Holiday coming up, etc. Just do it all on one spin $360 bucks 10/37 or 38. If it happens and hits her birthday you can tell her she's lucky.
