Tournament betting strategy is entirely different than cash games, just like it is in poker. Your objective is different. Look into that.
You're also going to deliberately break basic strategy rules sometimes, in the interest of not risking more money (double or split) at the wrong time in a tournament, or to take more risk trying to get more variance (get lucky) sometimes.
