We saw 5 of 6 properties this time around (didn't go to Planet Hollywood). Made a significant effort to find a kiosk at Flamingo and Caesars Palace (Caesars because they had one computer set up when we looked last year). Ballys, IP, and Paris (Sierra Nevada at Gustav's bar! ), we spent a lot of time at as well and also didn't see any. We failed to find any kiosks in Vegas. There still may be one somewhere, but if there is, I couldn't tell ya.

If anyone plans to hit Vegas as a destination, its not a bad idea to earn 25 Tier Points in the Margaritaville portion of the Flamingo. They will give you a Margaritaville T-shirt for doing so (while supplies last).

"Guests must opt in at A property via a Total Rewards card swipe at a promotional kiosk or TR center (varies by property) and show valid approved ID. Total Rewards membership is free and available by visiting a Total Rewards casino or signing up at TotalRewards.com."

...Maybe I'm wrong here, but reading this sure makes it look like you only need to opt in at one location, NOT all locations

You're obviously reading that right, but the original brochure that was sent out and what's on the website are different. So check out some of the other properties they still have it:

"Program runs between 12am on July 1, 2012 and 12am on October 1, 2012 (time zone is for location of applicable property). Promotional Reward Credits® awarded only and do not count toward Tier Score®. To qualify, earn a minimum of 25 Tier Credits in a single promotional day. To opt-in, swipe at a Total Rewards® Center or Promotional Kiosk at every destination visited. However this is in the FAQ and not directly in their rules so its a tough call. I tried emailing them about this and did not get a clear answer back, however it seems as when you email them you have to pick a location so I dont know if there is a corporate rep that emails you back or if it is someone from the location you pick. I may give them a call tomorrow to see if I get a straight answer.

Last year all you had to do was opt in online. Way tougher this year.

What exactly does "opting in" require at casinos that don't have a promotional kisosk. You go to the total rewards center and just like tell them that you are here? Not sure I really get it. Do you have to show ID everytime?

They have an app on their computers to opt in people. You give them your TR card and they will opt you in. They may check your ID. My g/f was only asked for her birthday, but I was asked for my ID because the employee there said my ID on record did not have a current expiration date. *shrugs*

When dealing with yourself, I highly recommend opting in at EVERY location.

Southern Indiana has Kiosk

To confirm, St. Louis has a kiosk to the left of the Total Rewards Desk.

Horseshoe Cleveland does not have a Kiosk. You have to opt in at the total rewards center.

Help fill in the blanks if you have info on whether a kiosk is available or TR Checkin is required. Thanks

I have not been there yet but I am being told the Rio is the only one in vegas with a kiosk.

Rio was the one property we didn't check in very good detail. We visited it before July 1st, so we weren't that concerned about finding any. I wouldn't be shocked it worked out this way.

From last year, North KC had a kiosk. And both Chicago area casinos had promotional kiosks, but Joliet had them shut off later in the evening, and Horseshoe Hammond had them highlighting some other promotion. I'll be in Chicago in a few weeks to confirm for this year.

So far have: Chester, ac, Vegas, Hammond, joilet, and Windsor (on three cards!). On a good pace thus far.

Hate to tell you this but...fine print sucks.

1) Hammond/Joliet are considered one destination.

2) They officially don't begin the promotion until July 15th, so you currently have neither of those locations.

and hopefully you went and opted in at all places because like already mentioned hammond doesnt start till the 15th so there is no way to even opt in there.
