I have had a few people ask me recently what ever happened with this situation. Sadly, nothing. Since it has been a while now I think I can share this. I talked to the gaming enforcement officers or whatever they call themselves in San Jose (they are part of the police department). Who seemed to be very eager to take down the M8trix and had had problems before with the "cardroom". We talked for about a month on and off and it seemed like they wanted me to help them with an investigation and not just testify but possibly go in again and get thrown out again and have there be a better record of it. There are a few more details of what they asked me to do that i probably shouldn't share, some of which seemed pretty high tech and I was excited to help.
About a month after the incident, they stopped calling me or returning my calls... That's basically it.
I went in to M8trix once while I was banned to play a really good 2/5 game that a friend of mine could get me a seat in. I was there for a couple hours and no one noticed me since the table was right by the front door. I had friend cash my chips out. Since my ban has been lifted I have played a few tournaments there but no table games. One time I was walking to the cage and had to walk right past the BJ tables and the pit bosses definitely took notice and watched me carefully as I was approaching, so I think they are aware of who I am.
A side note( I'm probably just paranoid) I had applied for staking on 2+2 about a year before The M8trix incident. I had had a few responses within a week of me asking for a stake but after that, nothing. When I started this thread I got a private message the next day from someone asking me if i wanted a stake. I said yes. Then they asked me for all my info and address and all that(which I completely understand if you are backing me) but the whole situation seemed really strange to me at the time so I didn't continue.

I was banned for the same reason at Hollywood Park casino Inglewood. Me and a friend would bank at negative counts thus giving us a huge advantage. We were soon approached by a pit boss and a group of security guards and escorted out the front door.We are now banned from the casino and are not allowed back until we apply for reinstatement. I too was surprised being that the game isnt beatable with traditional card counting. But Im guessing that more people use banking to their advantage as well.

I am anxious to know how you gained your advantage. We banked at a true count of -2 or lower.
