wondering what folks thought of the blackjack game at Bovada? I've read some reviews online, and it seems that maybe it's a little "biased"? I've played on the actual website as well as through the poker client... IMO it seems that the client runs much tighter as compared to the website... thoughts? I've beeplaying BJ at Carbon Poker for a little while, and it seems I run MUCH better there compared to Bovada. I haven't played a lot of blackjack, but it just seems odd that I can tell quite a bit of difference.

The Wizard of Odds endorses Bovada, that's good enough for me. Whatever difference you think you notice can surely be explained by a small sample size. Also, my friend turned $50 into 10k playing BJ on Bodog when he was 17, so take that for what it's worth (not much).

OP, have you considered the fact that sometimes you can go on hot runs, and sometimes you can go on cold runs? And sometimes you can go on really hot runs, and somtimes you can go on really cold runs? Hope this helps clear things up perhaps.

absolutely... I don't think that's the case, but I very well could be wrong. You know the basketball goals at carnivals where the rim is the same size as the ball (i.e. making the shot that more difficult?)... that's the feeling I get while playing blackjack at Bovada (I know, don't play there right? )

The blackjack game tied to the poker software is the most rigged blackjack game you will ever find. I've played hundreds of hands there, and everywhere else. It is crystal clear to me. The dealer simply does not bust. It's not a small sample size. It's a rather large sample size. Lost 27 hands in a row once. Stay away.

Over the past month or so I've played a lot of $1 BJ through the Bovada poker software. I do it just for the hell of it, and play 10 hands at a time, then quit, regardless of the outcome. I have not kept track of my results, but I am very confident that it plays the way blackjack plays. My rounds are usually breakeven, and those that aren't tend to fluctuate between +5 and -5, more often within +/- 2. I see the dealer bust quite often - or at least about as often as one would expect. I see the dealer get blackjack, and I've hit blackjack 3 times in a row. Everything I've seen there is consistent with what I've seen in Vegas. I can't say it isn't rigged, but I've seen absolutely nothing to suggest that it is. I wouldn't play it for big money, but that is just because it is a -EV game, not because I think there is anything fishy about it.

Bovada is legit. They are ****ers though and will delay your cash out until you donk back all your blackjack winnings.

You're saying that you feel bovada is "tighter"... Meaning you win less money / you don't get any good cards?

Don't play BJ often online but I did put a decent amount of hands on bovada and I'm up a couple hundred in the client version but the one attached to the poker is no good. I think I lose 8/10 hands on it

I've never had any luck with Bovada blackjack. Their dealer blackjacks about three times as often as I do. Didn't take long for me to realize everything is rigged in their favor quite a bit more than at a brick and mortar casino.

for one thing when the dealer has a 10 showing, its about 75-25 that he has 20.
other than that (which is huge,) you can beat it if you play small stakes and by the book

You're obviously terrible at math. When the dealer has a T showing, then it's 2:1 against him having a 20, after he's checked for blackjack.

me! a few yrs ago I was pissed because I spent my whole sunday playing the big MTTs at different sites and didn't cash in any of them (got sucked out really bad in all of them). Tilted, I took $200 from my ultimate bet account and played a long late-night BJ session running it up to $21k.

lost alot of money on BJ on Bovada after one day of losing $400 dollars i emailed bovada to block me from all casino games except for sports betting poker and horses. Best decision i ever made.

It seems trivially easy in online BJ to track dealt cards for statistics and verify fairness. This is a much simpler game than poker and much easier to verify that the deal is normally distributed. All dealer cards are known, all your cards are known, just count and do some simple statistics.

I have been playing and studying Blackjack for over 30 years. I can tell you without question Bovada Blackjack is rigged.

Don't believe the obviously phony postings here. Stick to sports betting.

It's a swingy game. I've had a $50 chip to clear playing $1 bets and lost it within $300 total bet. I've had 80 unit upswings too within 500 bets.
