Just lost my $200 winnings (and $100 deposit) in poker on bovada blackjack.. Not going to play blackjack on there ever again. Also, bovada sometimes had a higher fee than it claimed. I thought my card got hacked so I cancelled my card..

Bovada blackjack is normal. 888 I would avoid like the plague. Worst odds ever. At least the one in NJ.

You have to be an idiot to not realize online black jack is rigged.

I play 10 20 nl on bovada and have lost over 10k playing black jack.

I was betting 25 dollar bets and the second I increased to 100 the dealer had a 5 or 6 5 hands in a row and would be my 20 or 19 every time.

I doubled down 7 or 8 times and not once did I hit a picture and on all occasions the 4 5 or 6 did not bust. In the process of betting 100 a hand the dealer hit blackjack 8 times to my 1 time. The dealer also made 20 to my 18 or 19 about 90% of the time.

The session ended with me betting 500 4 times and the dealer got 21 2 times and 20 once and the final hand was a 3 getting to 21 against my 20.

The funny part is I bet 1 dollar bets after like 4 times just cuz I was laughing about it and I got 21 twice and 20 twice.

I promise you that you will not get to 10k playing bj on bovada. The justice departmant should honestly go after these guys. It's stealing money.

Just found a note I had written to log the hands. The dealer had shown 6 18 times and got 21 6 times, 20 5 times 19 twice and 17 4 times and busted once.

One specific hand I bet 500 on two hands and the dealer showed a 6. I doubled on my 9 to hit an ace and double on my 10 to hit 20 and the dealer had a 10 under neath and hit a five.

I've played blackjack and I play hold em for a living and I promise you I have never in 5 years run so bad in blackjack as I did on bovada and trust me I have run bad.

If someone runs even a little good in blackjack they can triple there money.

If your going to convice yourself that bovada would let someone with tens of thousands on there account like me take tens of thousands off of them in bj you are kidding yourself and are in serious denial.

I don't think the poker is rigged, but when you make a thousand dollar blackjack bet which sums up hours of rake do you really think they are going to let you win?

Drive 15 minutes to the tables if you plan to play Bj it's worth the gas kids

This sounds like the runs I usually have counting cards against hand dealt shoes in live casinos, betting big when the deck is rich in tens and aces.

Haven't played the web client, but the desktop client is definitely rigged. I only played $1 bets. Bought in for $10, lost it in ~10 minutes, bought in for another $13 and turned it into $30. I left saying phuck you Bovada, I'm up $7 and not playing this bs again.

Why rigged?

As others have said, very rarely busted showing a 2-6, often made it to 19-21 with 5-6, many pushes when I made 21, blackjack every time dealer shows an ace, even the best double ups (10/11 against a 5/6) rarely paid off. I'd get lucky with a couple blackjacks/21s in a row it'd be a push.

Not even sure how I made money. Got lucky on a few bigger bets. Most hands were completely ridiculous. Sticking to blackjack in casinos for fun, fully expecting to lose my money. Online blackjack isn't really fun, so just a waste of money imo.

I can attest the poker page Blackjack is rigged as ****. I've deposited over $600 this week. Every time you double your money, the site favors the dealer and if you don't walk away they suck you dry for what you've deposited. They HAVE to rig it because there is no collection for the house in Blackjack. The website has to make its money. Dealer makes 20, 21, or blackjack (9/10) when your bets are $5 or larger. Do not play this

I have no idea if the randomness has a smaller edge for the house or not, but in all honesty I don't think so. You only start to think something is rigged is when you lose.
Playing blackjack is a -EV play. It doesn't matter if the house does a collection. Vegas doesn't. It's because the game is setup to have a house edge.

I had a 2/1 blackjack coupon in Vegas and sat a single deck at 4:00 a.m. in which no one else was on the table, so I could count and I got burned like I've never seen before. Just constant losses. I was only playing until I get the blackjack which gave me 2/1 and I got burned.

My other friend used a promo code on Bovada and played $1-$3 hands and within a $8,000 rollover requirement he rolled off like $800. If he was betting $50 a hand he would of made about 25k in only 4,000 hands... This is just an estimate... He was playing $1 bets for a long time... It was just insane. I wouldn't of believed it to be possible.

I also have ran really well on Bovada B.J.. I get really hesitant to do any sort of doubling my bet sort of strategy though. Like Martingale Method or any of that. Since it's very risky and get skeptical of doing it online. I just don't get the right feeling when I try to do that.

So mainly just flat betting and only playing when I get some sort of free chips or something from some sort of promotional offer.

Who is this wizard of odds? I can see he has a reputation. Many players respect him. Is he a pro player? Or he just does tutorial or something?

I've been tracking my results and I've noticed the same. While the hand distributions are somewhat normal overall (off a few percentage from expected), whenever you increase your bets, your win-rate goes down. Over the last couple sessions when I increase my bet 2-4X, I'm 3-11. Yes, won 3, lost 11, and see many of the 'weirdness' Andrewjj2 described (double-downs get a small card that dealer beats, dealer 6s drawing to 18-21 most of the time etc.)

It's okay if you play small and keep your bet consistent. If you vary your bets, Bovada's gonna rape you.

Umm, unless you are a skilled card counter, then when you increase your bets in Blackjack you are *supposed* to lose more money, on average. That expectation is built in to the rules of the game. 1-2% negative expectation (or worse) times bigger bets equals bigger losses. This is third grade arithmetic.

The imaginary patterns that you attribute this effect to, are just random.

I am new to this site. I JUST signed up so I can post a reply to this thread, and many more like it.
I plan on starting a class action lawsuit against bovada.lv, and their online casino; blackjack in particular.
Their program steals money from their customers. I've played blackjack at MANY casinos, and have NEVER seen anything like this.
My argument comes from multiple times playing on their site, and EVERY time it lets u win 1 or 2 hands, and then steals all your money from there on out.
I understand variance, and probabilities, but that doesn't apply with Bovada. They have set hands that NO MATTER which way you play it, they will win.
I have NEVER seen anything like what happens on their site, and it occurs the EXACT SAME WAY EVERY TIME!!
I will be taking peoples emails so I can contact you and get your information to be included in the class action lawsuit.
Anyone interested please email me at etm6477@yahoo.com.

Please put BOVADA STEALS in the subject line.
Thank you.

Why don't you just play 1 or 2 hands?
