A new variation of blackjack thats taken over Crown casino in Melbourne. They call it blackjack plus but it may be titled something else, somewhere else. I'm looking for the EV of it, but will never find it unless I can work out what the game might be called

Its normal blackjack except

Stand off when dealer scores 22 - As simple as it sounds, 22 is a stand off for all bets (except bets that have already been paid out)

Blackjack pays 3:2

All 21's are paid out straight away regardless of dealers holecard. This includes non blackjack 21s

Any time a player has 5 cards under 21 they win. So if you have a 5 card 16, doesnt matter you still win straight away

Players can double on any 2 or 3 card combination. So if you have a tota of 7, hit and take a 4 to be on 11, you can now double.

Dealer stands on soft 17

Push on dealer 22 is worth about -7% for the player and totally eclipses all the beneficial rules. The house edge will be around 5%. Beware of this game!

I know push on 22 is popular in blackjack switch and that that's still usually a very bad game. Think about that you get a 10 and a 5 on one hand and a 6 and a 10 on the other hand they let you flip it and have a 20 and a double down 11 instead of a 15 and a 16 and they still love your action!

Yeah, all the cited player advantages are still much less profitable than the push on dealer 22. Bad game
