Beyond Counting by James Grosjean

This thread got me curious about legal advantage playing in casino games (particularly other than BJ) the OP bj21 mentioned Beyond Counting was a good place to start:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...ad.php?t=99807

Its been impossible to find so far in my preliminary looks around. Amazon lists it but it is unavailable, Barnes and Noble doesnt carry it, the Gamblers Book Store in Las Vegas doesnt have it. Anyone have any info on how I can get this book?

It's out of print. Occasionally you can find one on e-Bay for north of $300.

Very hard to find. It's a good book, though some of the information is out of date.

I really know nothing about this book other than the fact that even people who're relatively disgusting card counters will add, "It gives away a bit too much." Sadly this does me little good, since I'mma a tard and all.

It's definitely not a "how to" book. If you're willing to do a lot of digging, reading between lines, etc, it'll put you on the right track. It likely won't prove very valuable for most players. But for the very industrious and serious, it's hard to beat.

Have you read it? Buying it for $400, taking notes, then re-selling it is worth it. This book has a lot of very, very good information in it.

(I don't own it, I read through about half of it from a friend who does)

I'd recommend Sklansky's Getting the Best of It to anyone who thinks they would be interested in Beyond Counting.

But if it is Grosjean you must have, go to Snyder's BJ Forum in look for his articles in the archives.

Is the craps section about stuff like buying other peoples' bets, or does it delve into stuff like "precision shooting", or is it something else entirely?

There's a copy on ebay right now, if anyone wants to take the plunge.

offTopic - The craps part of the book is what's missing, amongst other sections.

I'm checking out the copy on Ebay right now. There is a very, very good chance I'll end up with it.
