Then just make it easy by playing only your hot streaks.

Some people believe in the tooth fairy too.

On the assumption you weren't just trolling, I'll give you the one serious response you might get. The EV of a casino game of fixed odds (like craps or roulette) can *never* be affected by how or when you bet, or by any betting system. The game rules 100% determines the EV.

People confuse expected value with actual value too much.

Do most Vegas casinos allow fire bets? If so, how do you place the bet? I like the idea of having small amount playing for large return. What do you guys think about the bet?

Absolute worst bet in the casino, 25% house edge.

Ive tried playing pass with odds about a dozen times and have never had so much as a single brief hot run. I just always lose. Same goes for blackjack. Some how I'm incredibly lucky at all the bad odds goofy games and bets in a casino. Fire bet seems like one of those. How do I place the bet if so inclined?

There is a small circle in front of each player to put a chip in.

Re: Best strategy for Craps?

Play where there is 10x odds and up.

Pass line with max free odds always. Don't pass is slightly better mathematically but I find it easier to follow with the way the odds work and how much you can bet just playing pass. Also more fun when the table gets hot cause almost everyone at least has a little something on the pass line.

Throw something down on 6 and 8 if you must make a place bet.

Press your pass and odds when you start hitting. Same with place bets.

Profit.

Wow really? Never even had like a couple rollers in a row hit 2 or 3 numbers each?

The profit thing was more tongue and cheek than anything else. I'm definitley not guaranteeing anything, but if you are at a table where the pass line is being hit a couple times a roll and you are chipping up/pressing you can run things up pretty quickly. Obviously there is still an edge for the house in the long run but once you factor in comps and promotions, free drinks, and just the fun and entertainment value it's not bad at all. When you take the max odds at 10x the house edge is lowered to .00184 per pass line bet made and odds combined. When you take the max odds at 20x the house edge is lowered to .00099 per pass line bet made and odds combined. The one thing about playing at 10x or 20x be prepared to betting 50 or 100 at the minimum. Cause even if it's a $5 table you'll be backing it up with 50 or 100.

The two places I play are 10x and 20x so I'll start off with $5 on the pass backed by full odds and if it hits I chip up to $10 with full odds if that hits I chip up to $15 with full odds. I go back to the starting bet if 3 numbers hit. If I double what I started with I'll usually double my starting bet so I'll end up at $20 with full odds on the 3rd roll as opposed to 15.

If you need extra action after the initial pass line point is made then make come bets backed by full odds.

20x odds is a good way to go broke real quick.

always be ready to move and find a hot table...don't try to grind back your losses on a cold table it will always go bad.
