Grunching, but I'd strongly urge you to play craps, if you're risking your roll and want to put 50k in play quickly. The reason is the odds bet. $7500 on the pass line with full odds behind, and you can still take max odds, but have the potential to more than double up with less total odds risk.

Nice Bump.

Guy was FOS.

He made all his posts in a two day period and then vanished into thin air.

He didn't have a farm or briefcase to piss in or a craps table to throw it on.

Taking the odds has zero effect on whether he wins or loses his single bet. It does not reduce risk.

Yeah I phrased the statement incorrectly. Taking odds with a reduced pass line will obviously have a higher upside than just a straight line bet for the same total amount.
No better odds of the line hitting.

If you're zipping in your whole bankroll and want to go pass-line I'm pretty sure all on the line is better for you than some on the line then odds.

Let's say you hit the point with it all on the line. You're getting 1:1 on your bet.
However, if you put $7500 on the line, and the point is a 4 or 10 (as an easy example), you can back that up with $22,500 in odds which will pay 2:1.
If the point is 5 or 9 you can back it up with 30k odds which will pay 3:2.
If the point is 6 or 8 you can back it up with $37,500 odds which will pay 6:5.

and when a 7 or 11 hits you make another suicide bet instead of shipping it and walking away.

Did you really think my contention involved not understanding how odds bets pay out?

Put another way, lets have a double up or nothing side bet. I'll zip it all in on a line bet, you can use your 7,500 and odds method. We can side bet even money.

Considering the guy is zipping in his whole bankroll I'm fairly sure the double up side bet is an accurate reflection of the situation/his desires, and again, the 7,500 and odds is less likely to accomplish his goal.

If the guy's motives are to minimize the number of spins/rolls I see what you're saying. Of course you understand the odds. But, considering the 7 or 11 is what, 23 pct or so, you're about 3:1 forced to see another roll and hit a point, so why not be smart about it, he can miss and still have money to try again. If the point is 4/10, which happens about 15 pct, he can miss and have 20k left to try again.
I can't run the maths on the probability of a faster double up with each method. 23 pct of the time you'd win immediately. Not sure my way would overcome that to fastest double up. But, on the occasions we both hit a point, it would give OP more money. And if we don't hit, or, if initial come out is craps, we still have some fraction left. I'd rather bet on who has more money after one outcome, lol.

His objective is to place one bet, period. No kind of series at all. So all those strategies are irrelevant, including the odds bets.
