Intertops just gave me a $100 slot balance for my birthday. I have never played slots before and want some advice on how to play it.
They told me I have a $6000 play thru requirement. LOL
$500 max cashout. Anything more that i win i have to give them back. LOL.
Here is the chat for it.
Robbie: Play through Amount Required: $6,000.00
Robbie: $500 max cashout
you: how does play through work. If i bet $10 in a slot machine regardless on if i win or lose it will say 5990 left?
you: is that how it works
Robbie: that is correct
you: what does it mean $500 max. What if i run the $100 to $600 after i have finished the play through?
Robbie: You can only withdraw $500 the remaining $100 will be forfeited, as you are playing with a free bonus
you: really? so what am i supposed to do if i reach $500 and have not yet reached the 6000 play thru
Robbie: it is recommended that you keep playing; the objective is to meet the play-through
you: but what is the point of playing if i cant withdraw and all i can do is lose by gambing
Robbie: Your concerns are understood, however, once you receive a free bonus, those are the terms
Anyway, any games i should play or strategy in terms of betting?
bet $100 on blackjack first hand, and double that down again if you win. If you try to maintain BRM you won't have any left to run through $6k, and will also waste a lot of time.
If you manage to bring $100 into $400, I may try looking at playing Jacks or better slots until you run through $6k worth of bets.
P.S. if you can't play BJ, just bet max at Jacks or Better for first few hands.

It's a slots bonus. I wouldn't imagine you could play blackjack or video poker with the bonus funds, let alone them counting towards the playthrough requirements.
Bet all $100 on one pull. If you manage to hit something decent, start grinding low-cost slots to decrease variance in the hopes of not losing everything.
My father got a online casino promotion in the mail back in 2007 or 2008... It was for $343 of free play (7 x 7 x 7).
He played $1 Super Aces Bonus video poker and hit 4A's right away for $2000. He called them up right away and asked when he could cash out. They said "you have to play through $11,000 before you can cash out." so he kept playing... Next thing you know, Royal for $4K, then another 4A's for $2K and he was up to $10K in the machine. He switched to $5, hit 4A's for 10K and a royal for $20K, he got the machine up to $60K at one point. He finally stopped and cashed out at $47K. The next day the owner of the casino or someone called him to interview him for their monthly mailer and he said how they were so surprised by his play and good fortune. My father said to the guy "I would have stopped at $2K if there wasn't a play through restriction" and he replied "There was no restriction on the play." A few weeks later the money was in his account.
But wow what a run...
tl;dr
Free play of $343 (7x7x7)
Sick ass run in Video Poker
Cash out $47,000.00 and actually get it.
