Easy way to buy/store crypto for US expats?

I'm a US expat living in Viet Nam, looking to buy crypto to pay for poker coaching.
I don't plan on having more than a hundred dollars worth at a time, so security isn't a big issue. What I care more about is convenience in terms of setting up the account, and buying/storing transferring the crypto. Hopefully I can do it all from the same app.
I've spent the evening looking into binance, kucoin and coinbase. Binace and kucoin don't accept US citizens, coinbase does but won't allow access from Vietnam.
Any other ideas?

You’re probably able to quickly and easily “on-ramp” via MetaMask (the most popular self-custody wallet).
Download MetaMask (mobile app). Create a new wallet, then try buying ETH via whichever option seems most convenient to you.

I've used blockchain.info for about a decade now.
I haven't shared with them my identification documents, so I can't buy and sell through them. All I do is send and receive.
They have both custodial and non custodial wallets.
There's a mobile app too.
Long way to go and a short time to get there.

you're going to need to KYC on ramp from your location... I have no idea what the regulations are in Vietnam, after you on ramp, then use a DEX of your choosing.
