Have any of you taken the level I CFA? If so how many hours did you study?

I am most likely going to take it in December and I'm just starting to study now. Will this be a sufficient amount of time? How hard is the test? I guess only 42% of people pass level I successfully.

I was a finance major and graduated over a year ago with a 3.3gpa from a well respected business school. I haven't done any finance related stuff since so I'm a little rusty. Should I hold off until June 2011?

i'd definitely take it in Dec so you have the possibility of taking lev 2 in June, because level 2 is only offered in june.
