$93.72 x 2,000 eth = $187,440 / $600 = 312.40x
yes, but you bought them with BTC, not with USD. Like you can say "wow im up 30% USD value holding an altcoin in the last 3 months" but BTC is up 100%, and you bought it with BTC. so had you just held the BTC you'd be up more $. The performance has to be relative to it's pairing (BTC), not to some other fiat that makes you feel good. it was 1 BTC = 2000 ETH. Now it's 1 BTC = ~20 ETH, looking at it any other way is a really poor way to approach investing.
