But the fact that literally every coin has gone up 2x in value against usd past few weeks ought to concern everyone. It’s reminiscent of the internet bubble where every internet stock was pumped to the moon regardless of their underlying business.

Coins like iota, eos which aren’t even functioning but possess 1b+ market caps & scamcoins and fake cryptocurrencies like btg ripple and bitconnect and bch all are pumping.

When this ends, a lot of people are going to get hurt.

It is a very clear, with every altcoin surging in usd value, signal that this bubble has entered a new phase. Mania, I guess.

Nothing good is coming once the bear market comes. It could literally be the final bag holding.

Check your qualifier please. I can assure you my MTL has not gone up 2x in value over the past week. As someone who has held on to it since September, I am an expert on all things relating the MTL price. In fact lately it rarely goes anywhere but down. Thankfully it's less than 20% of my portfolio (for now), now that my other stuff has gone up. I will get the last laugh though! (I think...)

I vaguely posted about this in the BTC thread-I agree that its outright mania at this point and there's going to be a correction at some point, regardless of some of the amazing tech behind it. Thoughts on when this occurs? Still money coming in? If I remember right you're a bull so I'd value your opinion if you think this is going to pop soon

So $5400 was the last dump where all the strongest weak hands got out.

In markets not everyone is supposed to be making money. How on earth a non functioning crypto like iota has 10b market cap and 50% of btc trading volume is mind blowing. The **** doesn’t even work......

Nothing you can do but maybe take some profits. At $50bil total cap people were saying the same thing, but obviously this is an order of magnitude higher in price and enthusiasm.

I believe similarly to you however you should research into each one before making such rash statements. XRP should not be bundled together, it has the most future out of all of them and its pricing is extremely underpriced, could see $100 within the next 3 years.

No just one

First of all, bitcoin is still less that 1% market CAP. Second of all, you do realize that more retailers and people are adding bitcoin as an option every day? So more and more capital is being added to bitcoin daily that is sitting.

The only bubble we should really be focusing on in regards to bitcoin, or cypto's in general, is when the US economy starts to crash, which is about 14-16 months out still. When this happens, we'll start seeing lots of corrections everywhere.

The second thing is when cytptos fund terrorism that ends of killing a lot of people and allows regulators to step in to hamper the decentralization of these systems.

Outside of that, enjoy the ride, and always invest wisely.
