[QUOTE=If FB goes below $20 will this shed another 10-20%?[/QUOTE]

More than likely the answer is yes. Not sure if ZNGA reports before FB though. A surprise in any direction might decouple them for a little while.

Traded ZNGA horribly today. I should have had a STOP ORDER in to protect a measely profit. TOOK small loss instead. ZNGA will be $20 a share again, soon :-)

I bought this heavily for some stupid reason and I'm losing my shirt. I really do hope you're right HSF...

I mean how much lower can it really go? That's what I tell myself every day, then I go look and see it's down another 4%

I thought insider trading was illegal! How did the execs all get away with that BS?

I lost some money on ZNGA too playing it on the FB IPO. I sold it at $7.25ish for an 8.5% loss.

Just wanted to heed warning that the "how low can it go" philosophy isn't a great investment strategy. It's almost always better to keep a stop loss and protect your capital. Another opportunity is always around the corner. The problem with buying/holding into a down trend is that it is near impossible to see when the end is in sight.

I don't know where you got in this thing, but you might want to consider picking a price where you are willing to cut your losses.

I'm down about 50% from where I got in. I think it's too late for that =/

Thanks for the advice though, I will heed it if I ever buy another stock ever again.

Anyone out there think ZNGA is tradeable at this price ? What are you using for entry/exit signals ?

I'd consider ZNGA untradeable in this market. I think there is a good chance it will test the lows again, but it's too beat up to even short comfortably.

Wait til they report in July. I'd wait for FB to report too.

Sold ZNGA premarket and made a tiny profit factoring in Friday`s small losses selling ZNGA. When I looked at ZNGA 2 hours later and saw it much cheaper I regretfully rebought it only to see it slide further. Valuation of ZNGA is compelling at these levels. I am in for a trade only thou. Good place for you too early longs to double down imo. Lockup selling ends soon I hope :-)

It was at first but then as it dropped I kept buying more and more. Currently it's about half of my non-IRA investments =/ I'm so stupid.

PLEASE tell me this isn't true! Overvalued even now? It's already shed 50% since it went public! What about its future in online poker?

ZNGA is not overvalued.... it`s just misunderstood and underloved a bit at the moment :-) It is time to throw caution to the wind and double your position. ZNGA will rule the world !!!

I sold premarket when it wasnt acting right. You could see the writing on the wall then. ZNGA was Green premarket and getting weaker and weaker. Plenty of sellers lined up premarket. Took a mid 3 figure loss. Lets see if it can close above $5 a share. If ZNGA recovers half of todays losses I will consider looking at it again. I way underestimated the discontent inside ZNGA. Employees are selling at any price and leaving the company.

How the heck is Facebook up 50 cents and ZNGA down 50 cents. does not compute ?

People are still trying to bottom fish FB today. Bottom fishing on ZNGA today is a little more scary given the price action.

FB going to roll over sooner or late with it. If not I'd be shocked, but then ZNGA will finally bottom.

Zynga has huge negative cash flow and no prospects of improving soon. Why should this company trade any diferent than EA?

Words with Friends (one of their flagship games) is buggy as hell, has some serious UI/UX problems, and insists on spamming my FB wall (if I play on FB instead of a device). As a developer I can say that when obvious bugs go unfixed for years at a multi-billion $$ company, and you don't see any improvements happening to the UI, that's a sign something is rotten under the hood. FWIW.

It does generally trade similar to EA.

I'm not sure I understand your point though?

My understanding is Zynga is cash flow positive, or was before they kept buying companies like OMGPOP for way too much money.

EA trades at .7X Revenue - Zenga trades at 2.1X. If Zenga's growth slows the stock has room for further declines.

Zenga is cash flow positive after you adjust for stock based compensation which I couldn't see at first by looking at a quick summary of the company.
