A hell of a lot more than anyone in this thread is likely estimating. Probably as much as the houses cost themselves.

Dude in your avatar was on Celebrity Jeopardy the other night. He lost to SNL alum Jane Curtin. Also, Pat Sajak is surprisingly smart.

Please take pictures of these houses, it's really hard to visualize what you mean when you're describing them.

Probably more. ****, just getting the permits, safety sign-offs, etc, is going to run you tens of thousands of dollars.

Yeah there is a clear correlation between net worth and sane-ness.

Yes there is a very strong one. Insane people have a hard time making money, for a variety of reasons I’m sure you can figure out.
People who make no money usually have very little of it.
Pretty obvious stuff really.

Hint: You can have a high net worth without being required to still be "sane" and "make a lot of money".

Some people make money then got nuts. Some people get insanely lucky. There are likely far more people on this site with a net worth of 1.5 Million than there are people who dream of building underground tunnels.

Plus you aren't accounting for the probability of him being facetious about the tunnel nonsense.

There is prob an easier way to become the head of the homeowners association...

Anyways, it's a great idea - You could prob change the name of the street to whatever you want. What do you want to call your street?

I ran good at investing and am reaping the benefits. Check my well for more info I guess, but I own half of a huge web hosting company which is based in Texas and a bunch of other businesses.

Plus all the ones that fail I just use my skills from my days as a carnie to sell it to other people. My dad and I were hustling the NJ boardwalks when I was a kid and it really helped me be successful in business.

I am going to do it but I don't think I can get the permits for the underground tunnel so that might have to be on hold. What I might do instead is connect the houses on the side and make one really big house that kind of loop around the cul de sac.

In the morning I'm going to call a real estate broker and try to get the wheels in motion on this thing. When it is done I will post pictures if you like.

if i did this i was thinking i would just block off the street and connect all the houses through an underground network of tunnels and maybe have each house serve a different purpose. like turn one into a movie theater, another into an office, etc.
whew if you did this it will be the first

I'm a web dev in Texas; would you mind divulging the name, or should I look through public records and see if a Roger Sigley or something co-owns the planet?

Also look at homes.com, filter 5+ bedrooms in Las Vegas for under 170k and you get 144 results and none of them are foreclosed bank sales. Why wouldn't houses outside of the city be cheaper?
i wouldn't mind a 5+ bed house with pool for that price, can't even get a 1 bedroom shed over here for that.
