that just really hand waved the risks. Its not a 7$ stock unless you give it a 5x multiple, which to be honest it doesnt deserve. I sold half for more than double towards the close, holding the other half

not really, the AR build is more likely due to the terrible Q1, DSO are down yoy which is showing the exact opposite thing. Seems the poster is grasping at starws there.

In terms of the quotes, the guys are basically saying badger is average with some even saying they are decent. Competitors arent going to say badger crushes them, average-good is as good as you can expect.

What's your opinion on IBG issuing a new debenture to partially roll over the db.b ?

How are you guys buying Canadian debentures? Doesn't look like IB supports the Canadian bond market unless I'm doing something wrong.

gearing up for a second go at NAL. Wasn't sure I'd get another chance like this after it took off.

Ahnuld how you feel about this? https://finance.yahoo.com/news/nanot...103000999.html

My first reaction is that it's extremely positive since the CEO mentioned one of their blindspots being not being able to meet demand at times. I also like that it offers some redundancy should something happen in Thurso. I wonder what sort of % they give up on that when it's made in Austria over their own plant.

just a follow up to last year's MOU with Hueck. Completely expected

been lurking this thread and trying to accumulate HOS.
Seems to me the key is likelihood of hos making it through the downturn. On this account I am rather positive. We are closer or maybe much closer to the end than the beginning.
The bonds prices have gone up a few points since the earning announcement while the stock has gone down by close to 50%.
Buying today and waiting it out for 2-3 years should pay off nicely.

risk on hos is offshore ends up at the wrong end of the cost curve and we need to get through cheaper opec supply and US shale before a call on offshore. but you can hedge that by long hos short rig because in that environment all offshore equipment is useless.

anyways I dont want to talk much about hos in this thread (last years pick) as indicated before

I get that it was last year's pick Ahnuld, but I think you must recognize that a decent amount of people invest in your picks. You obviously owe them nothing, but I think in a situation like this with them being invested, they're curious what it is you're doing with the core of your position now. I know in 2017 I'll still have a few NTS questions for you here and there if you're open to them. I do try to do the work as do many, but I think people wonder about these kinds of things.

fwiw I have no HOS position.

How efficient is the market on these micro's Ahnuld? I'm savvy enough now to have no real stress about NTS sub $1. Just wondering who's even selling down here. I think somewhere around .90 to .95 I'll have to average down.

wasnt down, it spun off the asset lending business (ECN) from fleet (EFN).

Company decided to make fleet a pure play ebcause they thought they wernt getting the right valuation. Asset lenders often trade at book because its not a great business. Fleet business is going to be something like 60% service revenues and 40% asset lending revenues (the trucks themselves).

Service revenues comprise things like purchases, gas, logistics, maintenance and others im forgetting. Is more sticky and higher quality than pure NIM business on asset lending side.

Sell side is saying fleet should do about 1$ next year. 15x multiple seems about right given decent organic growth, plus a $2 NPV of tax shields. Means should be about a $17 stock.

ECN book is $4.40

No. I would avoid it, not a good investment.

Ahnule can you tell us which stocks/industries are likely to soar if Hillary becomes,es president? And which will most likely tank?

Pretty nice volume day for NTS storming it back to over 1.20. I emailed Sean today at investor relations and linked him to a lot of stuff about anti-counterfeiting on cigarettes as well as the tax stamps on cigarettes. Cool guy, mentioned he'd forward it on to management.

Theres a video on Nano's site where Doug is interviewed. In it he mentions they did 5.5mm in year just ended. If he means fiscal 2016 thats 1.9mm in rev in Q4, step up from 1.2mm last quarter and 700k last year.

You peaked my interested because I couldn't understand how they'd know their annuals yet, but the annual reports are indeed all dated September. So their next call is to recap the fiscal year, I had no idea. Thanks for the heads up.

Also super weird to mention that in a video like that before the call, is it not?

edit: Oh snap in the video they revealed it was China and the 100. Wow his 2017 and 2018 projections are crazy bold.
