I started working for a startup a little while ago and we recently (soft)launched our platform. As a long-time lurker on this site it occurred to me that you all would be perfect to test out / give feedback on the platform www.meetinvest.com . The site is completely free, but you do have to sign up using your email.

The main highlight of the platform is the stock-picking tool that sorts through 68,000 stocks world wide based on the strategies of guys like Graham, Buffett, Templeton, O'Neil, among others. You also get access to the the hypothetical back-testing of each strategy.

Additionally, there's a wealth of investment insights that explain the what, how, and when of investing in plain language that avoids financial jargon.

Finally, there's the social side of the platform. When you sign up, you select two investment interests that helps the site suggest other users with similar interests. After you're on the site you're free to follow other users and join groups as well.

The idea of the platform is to demystify investing and give everyone the same tools so that they can make better investment decisions either on your own or with your financial advisor.

In addition to your thoughts on the platform I'm curious to know how you currently pick your stocks and if you use an online tool or your own formula etc.
