We are not aiming for retail for this season of hockey. Few of our customers contacted us asking where they could get our products, I guess some people still love to see /touch the products first.

The main problem is def location, as we are both University students in Quebec city, if we want to go retail, that would def requires us proximity with Montreal (where im from). I mean Quebec is nice but theres not much money here. And people still think Quebec will get their hockey back anytime soon(lol). Theres still good potential stores/place for our products.

As I previously said my dad have contacts in pretty much all big sport stores near Montreal and south of it (he has been and still is a director of sales in a international sporting goods company). I talked with him about it and he suggested me to wait a bit untill approaching them so I can have some credibility as a company and a potential partner. I've made a list of all potential stores that could hold our products (ranging from "dek" hockey area, ice hockey proshop and sporting goods). When this season ends, Ill start to call and knock on some doors for the next season.

We also released a new shirt:

Our instagram is at 6200 followers now // Twitter at 575 followers. Those 2 are our 2 biggest traffic influx with a 0$ cost. Facebook is 1st but we are paying to get ads so ya.

I used to hate twitter untill I realized how powerfull it really is.

Theres also another radio host that is wearing our Keep Calm shirt here in Quebec.

Expanding our potential customers ended up being a great idea (we have a lot of new US customers now). The Kane Of Thrones (RED) is the most viewed item on our site. We are actually working on a new shirt for Chicago. We also know Antoine Vermettes wife (Chicago player) so we are trying eveyrthing to get something done with our shirt. If that works, we are going to skyrocket to the moon. Odds are low but still worth the try.

When I see this, it makes me smile

ya KoT is our best seller! We also just released a new shirt for Chicago #19 - We run good, we released it before Game #6 lol. Now one time Stanley Cup. The KoT and 19 are very close to the real Kane/Toews and we are hoping to get very good publicity.

We have a lot of new updates coming into a new season.

1) We have a new website. We still are working on a few details (a french version+ CDN and USD accepted as payment, ambassador program etc). www.NorthLegends.ca

2) We just released a new tee (Toronto Big Guns Club) targeting baseball fans. Our first non-hockey related, and far from the last.

3) We just bought (today) our own printer. We anticipated some inventory problems if we kept going like we were so we decided to get our own materials and manage our inventory better. Plus, we won't have any delays in "refill". And we can print (almost on demand). We can also print ideas within 24hours. We found a guy who wanted to sell his printer for cheap so we went to see him with a expert and guy just wanted to sell it asap so we got it for so cheap its kind of ridiculous.

4) We just finished our first design working with a NHL 1st round pick and a pretty good prospect for Montreal. We are very excited to finally work with a player, younger generations seem to be more friendly when dealing with those stuffs. Looking foward to work with other players from all sports in a near future.

5) We are finally going to have a neck custom label so we will be able to get into retails asap.

Any feedbacks, comments are questions are greatly appreciated.

Couple of questions:
- With the Kane situation this summer, did you have to do damage control or receive negative feedback because you were selling it? If so, what impact has it had on your business.

- I don't see any company logo on these shirts. It's usually free publicity to put a logo on it so people know where to get it. Do you plan on doing this in the future? If not, why?

- Did you try to send free copies to the athletes (ie: Price, Gally, etc) ? They usually have a pretty big audience on their twitter accounts and a simple picture of them wearing your shirt can give you alot of publicity for a cheap price.
