some of the threads started in this forum are far more ridiculous than this one. there was the car hustler who wanted to be a big shot finance guy, he started 2 threads. so shuffle has an opinion, let's not all get adolescent and push for 'make a bet" to stiffle an opinion.

Can he even get involved with options if he has not traded before? If I remember correctly I didn't get access to options right of the bat when I first opened a brokerage account.

I think it also depends on the value of the assets you have (securities + cash) and whether you've applied for margin. Probably broker dependent.

Because from a decent sample of smart-mouth you can find good info if you know what you are doing and capitalize on the opportunity instead of him/them.
