I'm also surprised with the negative view in the Shark Tank. Bitchez be crazy about fancypants looks....

Let's not forget the wedding dress biz was also valued at $350k - Kevin valued it as closer to $100k.

I understand that not every girl in the world wants to rent a dress but I've met many who have and I think an online marketplace would make sense. I could easily see this as a 5-10M biz which would be a great return as an angel.

The best potential market for the wedding dress site to exploit will be the second wedding brides who realize their happily ever after they dreamed of is up in smoke. Plus they will be older and more practical on average yet want to pretend like they are on sex in the city.

fyi, this is an article abt the wedding dress biz from Jeremy Liew at Lightspeed Venture Partners. Very smart VC who's been in some of the hottest deals of the past 5 years.

The problem with that is they won't rent, but will instead just go with a super low key wedding to begin with.

Is there a link for breakdown of all deals? Specifically who has made the least deals, herjavic vs Damon? Googled on phone with no luck

The wedding dress didn't seem bad to me either. You have a ring to remind you of your wedding, not what you wore. To show how little a lasting dress can mean, I had a destination wedding in Mexico and a package they sold in the photos was a "trash the dress" package. You do a photo shoot after the wedding of you guys going crazy like swimming in waterfalls and stuff with your outfits on. You can goog it and see people rolling in mud. Seriously.. you only wear it one time, you might as well enjoy it.

Anyone not wanting to ruin it in case they need it again shouldn't be getting married!

interesting, in DD CA investing is done fairly loosely (except Kevin ldo), like that Luigi bird. Or sauna tent - no prototype, no sales ....

New episode being aired right now, just a heads up.

Worst part of the show:

Robert - Barbara, can you send me that picture?
Barbara - sure, I'll send it on my superfast T-Mobile 4G network (finger snaps, points at Robert and winks) ... DONE

t-mobile is shameless

fat ass fudge lady is the worst type of person on the planet. i know ill sound like a miserable pos, but people that are super happy like that at all times are the worst.

tree business was a good idea even with the downfalls they mentioned

i called the last 2 being idiots the second i saw them walk in

t-mobile ad was so tilting , makes me never want to buy a t-mobile product , ever .

the tree business would be something i would use , but im not sure it s a viable business ,

hot chick at the end was terrible , she tried to act smarter than everyone in the room , yet she ended up looking like an idiot .

god they cut that whole segment for the tv drama when it was just painful to watch. Fat ass lady was almost as bad. Props to the tree guy for a very good presentation, that allowed him to get a deal with a very marginal business.
