I believe he's stopped doing that since his Wellington Fund merged with O'leary Funds.

I actually thought we were going to get a whole show without even a single offer from the sharks, but Damon lit some $ on fire with those girls at the end despite a laughable valuation.
I would have shut him down also as he wanted a 6 figure salary. the idea was great but online was the way to go first.

The business was good, but the guy was shady.

If you are going to pitch to investors that don't know you, starting off by telling them how you lied your way into a job isn't the best start - no one will trust you not to lie to them as well. When he did that, I'd start to wonder whether his figures were real or bogus.

Also, "six figures" was just obviously too much. If you are asking anything more in salary than is required to cover reasonable expenses, the amount is too high. The guy was single and LA is no Manhattan in terms of cost of living.

The guy reminded me of one of those guys that reads Donald Trump/ Robert Kiyosaki books and talks endlessly about making money.

yeah, failest we've seen in a while. how do you come in asking for $300k for 15% without having a clue that it values your company at $2M (ie. $1.7M pre-cash injection), and then end up begging for $300k for 65% (valuing it at $161.5k without the cash)?

still, daymond could have started that business on his own and would have done much better without those idiots... so i suppose the company is worth $0 without him, and possibly a lot with him.

that's crazy...there's no way I can justify spending $150 on a polo shirt.

They had a highlight show of Dragon's Den the CDN version last night

They had the most memorable events and the #1 was a deal done and at the check presentation the kids professor kills it

http://www.cbc.ca/dragonsden/episodes.html

lol.

just watched episode 19 of this season of canadian dragon's den.

kevin oleary calculates a 100k investment that returns 1.2 mil in 7 years as a 13% annualized return. nobody calls him out on it and everyone except jim drops out. dems some savvy investors.

Does anybody know where I can watch the new episode? Love the show and am able to watch all the Canada ones on youtube but haven't been able to find a place to watch the American ones. I have seen a few of them and Mark Cuban is a boss.
