"Interest" on Craig's List is a very misleading feeling.

Basically, a huge chunk of interest is stupid people who can't read, and scammers from Nigeria, etc.

Make it clear in you add that it needs to be picked up same day, in exchange for cash, for set amount - no more negotiating when people get here. Many will still say OK, but never show up. Make things easy for yourself and don't go out of your way for others on CL as you will end up spending a month selling whatever item you're selling dicking around with all the flaky people and scammers.
