Every field where there is a ton of money going around is competitive.
But IM sites are a little like Paris Hilton.. Famous for being rich, and rich because they're famous.
Here is one guy's income brake down that he posted here:
Site 1: $3,000
Site 2: $1,500
Site 3: $100
Site 4: $100
Site 5: $250
Pretty good right? The guy is making $5,000/month from his 5 niche web sites...
But wait a second... What about his how-to-make-money web site?
Here is some affiliate incomes he gets from pitching other how-to-make-money tools to newbs:
Market Samurai: $4,550
The Best Spinner: $2,628
Unique Article Wizard: $3,001
and so on and so on...
So he is making $5,000 from websites, but $41,000/month from shilling how-to-make-money products and tools and another $8,000 in 'consultations'.
Now you know where the money is...
... and why certain products with good affiliate payouts are promoted by all these guys everywhere... (He made almost $1,000/mo just in WB Thesis Theme commissions. haha.)
