Re: July 2012 Trading Thread
Ok I looked back and noticed that you said without options so I am sorry about incorrectly remembering your post.
On another hand, I still hope that you know what you are getting into when you are buying into a 3x anything.

of course, there are issues like decay with the leveraged ETF's but like I said, I follow a very well respected trader who runs a great online service and posts all trades in real time. I don't think anyone who runs a similar service with thousands of subscribers is anywhere near his level. We watch/analyze the trades daily of course, which is necessary when using the leveraged ETF's -- for people who can't trade as often or don't want as much aggression he lays out the less volatile trade too (such as gdx/gdxj in place of nugt, gld in place of ugl, etc.)

Re: July 2012 Trading Thread
Starting to put a long watchlist together:
First name on there is ULTA. I'd find ULTA attractive on a pull back between $88-$92. Think it can run up to about $99.50 by between now and late August
I'd like to get a chance to cover my spy short around $134.45 and keep the loss under control. Hoping and expecting a Pullback Thursday afternoon through Friday.

Re: July 2012 Trading Thread

ULTA having a nice day.

Re: July 2012 Trading Thread
Have to leave for work:
Mcllelan Oscillator is showing we are very overbought here.
Holding Spy short overnight
So tempted to gamble with the TZA and hold overnight, but I'm trying to work on staying disciplined and that is a lot of risk to leave on the table. I'll be checking every 15 minutes or so and looking for a spot to sell. I'd like to sell it somewhere in the $17.00 area if possible $17.25 would be great, but I'd settle for anything w a $17 handle, If I don't get it i'll take the closing price win or lose.
GL all!

Re: July 2012 Trading Thread
Sold TZA for $16.87 for about a 0.70% gain. Could go up 7% tomorrow, but too much risk if it goes the other way.
