BetterInvesting.org, is it a waste of money? BetterInvesting.org, is it a waste of money?

A friend recently suggested I look into betterinvesting.org to learn more. I can't find any reviews of it online. Does anyone know anything about the site and if its a good program to join for someone who knows next to nothing.

Looks very similiar to my website - but I like this design a little better, I migth steal some ideas.

I'm having trouble figuring exactly what you get for $79 per month though.

I would say not spending money on things you dont know about would be a pretty good investing lesson.

Are you sure it is even $79/month after the first month. The wording implies that $79 is a trial offer. It could easily be a few hundred dollars a month after the trial. I wasn't able to find a fee schedule.

I know nothing about the site but they claim to have been around for 40 years so if there is nothing from a third party about them I would be suspect.

First of all, it's $79 a year. Not $79 a month.

Second, the introductory offer is simply a 30-day free trial.

Finally, as a member of the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII), this looks to be a cheap imitation.
