Thoughts on THQI? They took a beating after the last earnings report and putting a ton of capital into a crappy IP. Looks like they'll be cutting costs and dropping their less profitable IP's in favor of the major ones.

Granted, there is talk of delisting from NASDAQ, but maybe a reverse split could solve this? Take a look at their outstanding shares vs. market cap.

Still on the fence, haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Bought Deck (makers of uggs) today at 86.10.

Great rev and eps growth both qtrly and annually
Pretty balance sheet
Uggs is starting to make handbags and jackets
Retail stocks that are for women tend to be pretty resilient (e.g ulta, coach, ltd)
Uggs was the #4 stock searched for on google out of the whole blessed interwebs this holiday season.

The bare case is that warm weather will hurt sales and the brand is getting a bit played out. Both are BS imo spread by the short sellers. If you read a review for uggs on any site, it sounds like these buyers would sooner part with their boyfriends than their boots. Sounds like brand loyalty to me.

Also the warm weather thing has really kept the stock price down during the big rally. They report earnings in a few weeks, and I expect a lot of investors to find great value here and will want to pick some up.

What's so pretty about it, other than the lack of debt?

if you work as a sell side analyst or on the buy side in any capacity then yeah. entry level or not doesnt really change things. I coldcall ceos and cfos all the time. the bigger the company the lower down the foodchain you go. For a mega cap like anything over 10 billion id call IR. But if ive met the ceo/cfo and have their card im calling them directly.

My friend's niece insisted on a $140 pair of Ugg gloves. My gf wears her Ugg slippers all the time and buys a new pair every year. I think they have staying power.

Fair enough: let's replace "pretty balance sheet" with almost 3:1 current assets/current liabilities.

I could see it pulling back in the short term though after today's pop. I'd keep a close eye on tomorrows volume to see if it follows through. If it keeps going up to $30 or $31 I'd strongly consider taking profits.

Good news is your probably have support now at $26 if you want to wait it out.

Being that this is a gambling website, some of you might want to find a spot to short BVSN.
Looks like someone is running a pump and dump.

I def don't have the experience to know when a good spot would be to initiate the short or if it is a bad idea all together. But this stock is a LOCK to plummet eventually.

Any ideas?

Any ideas on how to profit from high inflation in the next few years?

I'm looking for something that pays off big if inflation gets very high and it is fine if there's no payoff for modest or low inflation.

I'm looking for something that pays off big if inflation goes over, for example, 5% or something like that. I would prefer something longer term (higher inflation required for pay-off is OK if the term is longer).

I basically want to bet that there is a lot of excess capital sitting around and that when confidence recovers there will be high inflation.

I want a high return in exchange for getting nothing if inflation stays low.

SU, TCK, POT, ABX, GG amongst many other commodity stocks...

I think oil gold and copper would benefit tremendously from said inflation, and food prices are basically a one way street higher.

CSCO beats expected earnings and revenue forecasts and increases their dividend, but trades down in the afterhours anyway. WTF.
