E-fax recommendations?

Hey guys,

Revamping a small business and in need of a good efax service. Anyone have recommendations? Don't really need great support, I'm pretty comp savvy. Just want the best deal/range of use possible. Thanks.

I use Myfax and RingCentral. Both have been fine. I have mostly incoming faxes though, virtually no outgoing. I think I pay like $18 a month combined.

Re: E-fax recommendations?

I think they are all close to the same. I use Trustfax BTW and get 250 pages per month and pay $19.95/year. Granted I think they screwed up on my billing but I am not going to point it out since it normally costs $7.46/month.

And in before, "Faxes, who the hell uses faxes anymore?"

Re: E-fax recommendations?

I have no idea if you can port fax numbers. I'd guess yes, but if you just add a dot com to the end of each of the companies I listed it should tell you on their site. I get about 300 incoming and 100 outgoing on each one per month. I have no idea how they other companies are.

Yes, I don't like faxing, but the credit card processing industry still loves faxing so we deal with it.

I've been happy with extremefax. Website is dated, but they're pretty cheap.

i spent hours researching this last year. Interfax won me over. Support is great. If you need an api, theirs is well documented for several programing languages.

Re: E-fax recommendations?

I have used E-Fax and they were terrible. I kept getting tons of spam faxes and it pushed me over my monthly limit. E-Fax would never do anything about it. I switched to Ring Central and I pay around $10 a month. No issues so far. I wasn't able to port my number to Ring Central.

All toll free and local number by law are portable. The only thing that can allow a company/carrier to not port your number is if you aren't current on your bill, or you signed a contract agreement like the one E-Fax http://home.efax.com/customerAgreeme...Agreement.html

I work for a small carrier and do porting each and everyday. If you ever sign up with a company make sure the T&S agreement don't say you cant port a number on your account. Other wise your good to go pending you pay your bill

In regards to E-Fax all the recommended ones that have been mentioned are good ones to go with.
