Can you post a link to a 20$/yr site, I usually get all mine thorugh rapid SSL which is one of the cheaper I can find and it is 50-60$/yr; admittedly haven't done a tone of searching though. thanks.

It's amazing the amount of BS in the SSL sale. It's truly one of most incredulous industries out there.

It may seem like I'm targeting very competitive key words, but in Australia (google.com.au), the first pages of each of those search terms don't appear to be all that competitive.

Biggest cost has been my time.

I don't understand... What about the costs of merchandise? Or is this an affiliate store?

Just about to startup a shopify myself soon, getting some product made in china at the moment. Have about a month to set this whole thing up.

Noticed some traffic coming from 2+2 so thought someone must have bumped my post. Sure enough.

Store is going well.

I actually won one of the category prizes for the Shopify Build-A-Business competition. Netted me close to a $40k prize package. So yeah, business is good and Shopify treating me well

Using sites like Shopify, you'll always come across a few minor things that don't work how you'd like them to. Especially if you're too tight with your money to pay for a real designer like me.

But overall, happy to be with Shopify.

I've had that product description issue from the start. It was brought up earlier in this thread.

The product titles won't be changing, so it's on the 'to do' list if I ever hire an actual webdesigner.
