BTC should be around 30k-50 at end of 2020. It won't hit 100k until the next halving. Not sure where these finance guys pull their numbers from but BTC current trajectory is going exactly as projected back in 2013.

Ironically, going down that evidence list is what made me think there's no other explanation for the evidence other than him being Satoshi.

If he's not, think of how incredibly stupid the lead bitcoin developer and the head of the bitcoin foundation must be to think he's Satoshi. Or how incredibly smart Craig Wright must be. Both of them:

- Asked him non-public questions that only they and Satoshi would know, were happy with the answers
- Repeatedly watched him sign a phrase of their choosing with various of the first 9 keys
- Probed his knowledge of cryptography and blockchain tech and were highly impressed

An extraordinarily talented conman if he can pull that off while knowing "nothing about cryptography/bitcoin/can't even code" as some of his detractors claim.

I wouldn't take Vitalik's opinion too seriously. This is the guy who tried to raise money by claiming he might be able to break SHA-256 & Bitcoin by simulating quantum computers on regular computers.

Actually I would call that proof that Vitalik didn't invent Ethereum! That's part of the standard of reasoning above for why Wright isn't Satoshi. Thanks for the link, that's hilarious.

The crypto space is so full of cucks, crooks and charlatans that I don't put a lot of stock in the vitriolic attacks, especially when many are provably absurd ("he doesn't even code!"). Bitcoin SV and Satoshi's vision of where Bitcoin should go is also the death of Viltalik's baby.

Andresen still strongly believes Wright = Satoshi, and the founder of the bitcoin foundation also does, strongly. They're the closest thing to honest guys in this space and the only authority on Satoshi that matters - he only corresponded privately with a handful of people.

BTC rises in the short term and...

TS continues to hit the calls. He'd likely be a near billionaire if he had invested alot of BTC when he first became bullish, and swing/margin traded all his leans. (It's possible he actually did do this and simply claims he has 0. That would be smart to do if he really had many.)

For lunch, I just ordered two pizzas from Domino's , a national US chain, using the Bitcoin Lightning Network. The transaction was nearly instantaneous , transaction fee of 3 cents , and got a 5% discount on the price for using the LN. Very nice!

What kind of lightning node did you use? (lnd, eclair, etc.?) (on android, ios, PC?)

Who did you set up lightning channels with? ln.pizza or someone else?

How much were the fees to set up those channels?

How much bitcoin did you lock into those channels?

I don't understand what's so amazing about giving Bitcoin to Card for Coin, Inc to order pizza for you.

One issue people have with Bitcoin is that it can't scale because it's too slow (10 minute blocks) and too expensive to transact every day (fees have hit highs of $20+).

So it's cool to order pizza and pay with bitcoin where the transaction is instant and essentially free.

oh dang - yea, "i ordered pizza from a nationwide chain using bitcoin" sounds pretty good

much more attractive than:

i sent bitcoin to a guy who turned around and ordered pizza with his credit card. then i tipped the bitcoin guy at the end, because yay lightning network!
