Re: Back for some feedback on my online business after many iterations

I like the way that looks, but I don't think you want to only have that on your main page.

This isn't a landing page for some ad you're running, this is the frontpage for your company. Don't be afraid to keep a lot of the stuff you have (videos, testimonials, etc) below those elements.

Also, I think there's way more value to be gained in optimizing the rest of your business at this point rather than worrying about having the best designed site out there. Agreed, make it clear what you're selling, and what people need to do to sign up, but don't spend 3 weeks focusing on the design. People use ****ty designed sites every day when the product works how they need it to and for a good value.

Most other elements on the page would remain except for maybe "Featured Startups" I might change that area to what displays when you click my "How It Works" button. I am just showing this for "Above the fold" purposes.

user testing that will K.O. your startup has a negative connotation IMO.

instead try, "user testing that will help you K.O. the competition" or something.

Yeah I see what you are saying. I am considering changing it to:

"User Testing For The Lean Startup"

I think this could be the winner. I tried to incorporate all the feedback I received into this design.

I have realized from this feedback it is virtually impossible for all visitors to like a particular landing page / design. I just want to make sure the important facets are easy to find and understand.

Thanks. I am a bit skeptical of the excessive caps being used. I probably will look into toning this down when it is sliced into my website

I like it a lot more. Personally I'm a big fan of using white space in design so would like to see some more, but other than that IMO it's much better.

If you decide to incorporate a blog then hit me up and I'll convert your chosen BetaPunch design to a Wordpress theme for you.

I don't get why you are using the word "lean" and why it's emphasized.

Primarily because my niche is startups particularly startups that don't have or want to spend a lot of money.

The new design has been implemented into the website now. There are still some kinks that need to be worked out but what do you think so far?

Re: Back for some feedback on my online business after many iterations

I still think there is just to much going on for my liking, its loud and hard to focus on. I made a mock up of what i think works, very rough and needs improving but its simple and clean

I still think you need a 60 second video explaining WTF your site about and would be needed for such a simple design. I showed my GF your site and she couldn't get it instantly or even after a minute. There is a reason all start ups are doing them, video is a great medium to get peoples attention quick and fast, see if this video sways you

Re: Back for some feedback on my online business after many iterations

I agree on the "busy" comment. I think a lot of it can be solved by using a bit more spacing too.

Push the 3-blocker down a bit.
Push the "WE HAVE HELPED" line down a little further below the 3-blocker
stuff like that

There was better spacing on the image you posted than what you put up. Try to incorporate some of that look.

Also, push your 3 checks further to the right so you fit more on the lines and don't leave a hanging word. And put everything in the same tense.

-We find the testers for you
-They identify your website's flaws
-Your customers get a better experience

or

-Find testers quickly and easily
-Discover flaws on your website
-Improve your customer experience

things like that.

I mean, really you should be using your own site to do this right?
