Conversion of currency in third world country

I have a business that I recently sold and was paid in Egyptian pounds since I am currently in Egypt and that is where business was located. I need to convert this to euros or dollars but it seems all the currency exchange offices are not converting to dollars/euros. Was thinking about conversion to gold and selling in another country but do not want to do anything that could get me in a grey area since the money is totally legitimate. Any ideas? and yes I am located near Cairo and same issues there. Talking six figures

You need to track down American/European banks still operating in Egypt and talk to them. The sum is significant enough someone will tell you what you need to know.
