Flattened all this and made a lil profit. Kicking myself for not covering ES lower. Got greedy.

As for the position I'm just holding its a tiny tiny position that I bought expecting to make 200% on or lose 70%+ on.
How likely did you think it was that the ruling would be positive?

Greater then 75% given how the voting has been going at the FCC. All past dockets have gone either 5-0 or 3-2 with republicans dissenting.

Haven't sold yet (on the second go 'round). I don't think the retail investor will be fooled again this close to the last rollercoaster run. I'm mostly waiting to see how it responds to testing $10.

I do think shorting their next earnings is probably going to be a decent play based on what the CEO said on the last call. With their expenses going up q over q and the 12-18 month time frame he sited for his sales guys to get mature in their territories, I can't see how sales will be anything but short term disappointing. Shorts will probably use that to their advantage.

Not much thought in this but I bought 3 ftse 250 retailers today:

Marks and Spencers 352
(bit of a ****house design wise but it's cheap)

Sports Direct 360
(love this company- CEO is a don, no debt, owns tons of brands and huge yield)

Jimmy Choo 114
(trading low vs its average since flotation. will always be rich idiots buying this stuff and think China worries are overdone)

I could be wrong but there is no dividend for shareholders? So no yield? Also expect shadiness from Ashley, never know what is going to be revealed in the future with him.

I also bought a UK retailer on Friday, Mccolls.

CME is also developing a Bitcoin index. Can't wait for Bitcoin futures.

There are more clutter posts objecting to Wealth$ than posts from Wealth$. This thread is cluttered with a lot of no content "I bought 100 shares of XYZ" which nobody cares about and Wealth$ makes a lot of those kinds of posts. For some reason him doing it has pissed off some who feel it is their God given mission in life to flame war with him.

If I were a mod I would be concerned with those who break the rules and who personally attack other posters (like those attacking Wealth$!).

Yeah this is where I fall too. Wealth needs to post better, but he certainly doesn't need a banning. And people have used some pretty questionable language vs him. We're all better than that.

Please move all this continued Wealth$ crap to the low content thread. This thread has improved a lot since we decided to do that, and others have started posting who haven't for ages. This should be trading ideas/discussion/analysis with commentary only imo.

There should be a warning next to Wealth$, listening to this poster is hazardous to your net worth.

Then again that applies to a lot of the crap posted in this forum. Lol @ Gold, Zynga and Bitcoins, all while paying rent.

Sounds good, LC thread will be enforced now, feel free to report any posts that break that rule in here.

Earlier this year, I was going to buy 30000 shares of PGNPQ for $0.07. However it was around 12:15 and my sister came early for lunch and got distracted. We went out to Carls Jr. and used a coupon to get 2-1 big chick filet sandwidches. i got a $ drink but she did not want to pay the $ and got water. I forgot about it. It is $0.90 today.

Probably could have bought that drink for the next 100 years, 25 dimes. Another choke.

About a month ago I decided to sell stx before earnings about $27. It dropped to $22 after earnings and had a nice short term price drift down to about $19. But it has rebounded to $24 including the dividend. But the lesson here is I should have sod 10 days prior to earnings, doubt they are still buying back shares but many of these high buyback stocks have a 10 day before and 2 day after earnings buyback blackout period. Thus you often see downward pressure on the stocks during this time, I could have sold it for $33.

If you like the stock 2 days after a bad earnings could be the time all the buyers have dried up the buybacks are gone and the stock plummets like a rock. aka Macys

those hypothetical scenarios are always dumb

you prolly woulda sold at like 15 cents

i had a bunch of tesla 40 call LEAPs that i bought for like 2 bucks that would've made me a few hundred thousand at today's prices

when it hit 60, i dumped them, and was so amazingly happy at the enormous return
