ok here is the contest i set up,,, the site looks good , only downside is that it wont let us see what we each hold (in which case we can use open passwords) . I initially set it til 12/31/15 and I think its the best time frame.. it would be an A+ if holdings were transparent at all times. can one of you guys see if im missing something, or if there is an option for that ? here is the link

I live in Southern California. I just installed solar. I have a 8 year simple payout that is guaranteed by the vendor.. This is a tax free 12% return. Seems like a good investment to me. Yes this is after the 30% Federal tax credit.

Pointless exercise if we can't see trades. Why not do it in a 2p2 contest thread? Then we can sweat and comment and discuss trades. Post real time entry/exit, price and position size. Someone can update rankings and holdings weekly/monthly, it's a simple spreadsheet. I could even write a parsing script in 20 minutes to do it if people stick to a format. Example:

BOUGHT: 1000 AAPL @ $113.2
SOLD: 500 AAPL @ $116.5

And we can also include options and futures which is hard to do elsewhere.

There also needs to be a prize at the end, like money or an undertitle or an exile of someone else in the contest the winner doesn't like.

No point in even bothering. Paying $70 roundtrip is crazy enough to make me basically never make a trade. I'm just going to put in a portfolio tomorrow and let it run for the year.
