Zo is a regular on the live MTT tourney circuit and also a popular character on poker twitter feeds.

Matt Glantz is currently tweeting that he has been scammed for 10k by Zo and that other players have known about it for awhile. I saw Zo grinding wsop this summer when I was there on weekends.

Anyone have any details ?

Have it on good authority that Zo Karim was playing high stakes baccarat in the Mirage high limit room on lots of evenings. And losing a lot.

Damn, the worst part imo is (especially when involving friends) what would have happened if he didn't get caught. Obviously even when caught, not everyone pays back but yeah disappointing, hope it's at least corrected now

Honestly kinda sucks that "trustworthy" ppl with solid reps do this, when buyung pieces it forces me to ask ppl who are super legit to post receipts and stuff where I normally wouldn't want to

Any more details about what he's actually done and how he scammed?

I'm guessing overselling or doing a Ben Warrington of pretending to play events that he didn't even register for.

I had 2 interactions with him. Both involved him being a bit creepy to female players at the table but then again he is basically a 'brownmagic' McLovin so that was no shock.

it's actually really scary, God only knows how many others are doing this, if you're careful and only oversell few 10ks per year you can make a ton of money without much risk
