Among the players to make it to Day 2 is Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, who doubled up in a pretty weird hand against German Jan-Peter Jachtmann:
Ilari raised to 1,100 in the button and Jachtmann pumped it up to 5,100 in the big blind (leaving himself approximately 12k behind), Ilari called. Flop AK6 all hearts went check - check. Turn 2s and Jachtmann went all-in. Pretty standard so far, but here comes the weird part: As Ilari was thinking through his decison, he was playing with his chips and accidentally dropped one. "Uh-oh", he grunted, but the dealer misheard him and announced "Call". Jachtmann immediately started swearing and shaking his head. "I haven't called yet," Ilari protested and all the other players agreed. Finally it was decided that Ilari has all the options available to him. "The guy had basically told me what he had with his reaction, so it was an easy call to make," Ilari says. He flipped over second pair with KJ suited while Jachtmann showed pocket sevens. Neither player had a heart in their hand. River was a 3 and the pot was shipped to Ilari while the unlucky Jachtmann looked on with steam coming from his ears.
