in my opinion Wynn would build the best casino for massachusetts hes got a good track record agree/disagree?
where do you want the casinos built?
OP,
This is a somewhat confusing title. Massachusetts is poised to approve up to 3 resort style casino licenses (and slot parlors) in 3 geographic areas of the state. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is targeting February 26, 2014 as their date for issuing casino licenses. WYNN DID NOT WIN A LICENSE. No licenses have been awarded. The Town of Everett (Northern/Boston region) simply approved a
host community agreement with Wynn. There will be other bidders for this license.
One Indian tribe appears to be the front runner for the license in Southeastern Massachusetts, as they have preference and already have a host agrrement with the town of Taunton and are in discussions with a compact with the Governor. Commercial bids for this license are on hold.
There will also be a license for Western Massachusetts. Proposals have been put forth by MGM, Hard Rock, and Mohegan for this license in Springfield, Palmer, and Holyoke.
