Lons cadence cracks me up, he has a habit of raising his voice and emphasizing stuff whose importance doesn't match his intensity.
ex: he'll calmly call the action saying something like "there's a bet and a call" and then scream "THERE"S 4 MILLION IN THE POT!!"
It always catches my attention (because I'm multi tasking) and then I look up and see whats happening and think, why the hell is he screaming the action like a buzzer beater win in basketball when the hand isn't even over?
Anyone know what Norm and Lon do when they're not calling poker? Seems like the gig can't pay that much and they'd need a second job or be independently wealthy

Lon calls some other ESPN broadcasts. I have heard him on Bowling and Billiards before
Seriously, this is the type of stuff we need to have shown on ESPN. Normal people who have no clue what they are doing winning 100k and crying tears of joy. Hell, I teared up a bit myself!
Brings back the memory of that senior who folded Aces pre flop, showed it, and claimed it was a good fold because he was unlikely to improve in a multi way all in.
