Catching up on day 7 now. Hesp raised Ruane on the flop, asked Ruane if he wants to see after he folded, then shows his top pair when Ruane nodded yes. Hesp then asked Ruane if he folded better than an Ace and Ruane replied "obviously not". So glad he busted. Ruane has the personality of an 8-year old who just dropped his ice cream cone.

i commented itt after that aired on pokergo (i think it was the first hand of the day). why would a pro do this? you have the jovial amateur to your right who is offering to show his hands to you all day, but you react in a way that very well could turn him off from doing this.

as i said earlier, the final table bubble bust was karma. served Ruane right imo.

man i gotta say, nick schulman's commentary is tilting me so hard. he keeps using these awful descriptives like "beautiful" and "sublime" to describe really standard actions/spots and he has this slow, measured tone like he's basking in the aroma of his own farts and just totally loving it. he's trying so hard to sound smart and educated, seemingly very proud of himself for it

RE: The 10 10 bubble hand, Hoyt Corkins (KK) was on the bubble in a SHR in LA, I believe and he also lost to a hand with an A in it. That happened a few years ago.

In a weird way I feel like Hesp may think he's " setting them up " by showing or maybe he doesn't think it matters cause they get the info in 30 anyway. I wonder if his Uber driver is letting him know about what other players have had when the info comes available.
