I don't get all the fuss about showing cards on a streamed table. Everyone gonna find out anyway in 30 minutes.

Hesp is basically the best possible candidate for a WSOP main run. If producers had to make up a person for that role, it would look and sound exactly like Hesp. Sadly, I doubt it will have any effect on the poker world.

His interview with Kara where he asked if it would be possible to meet Negreanu and Hellmuth was just too cute.

35/1 on Sportsbook. I posted the odds a couple pages back.

My thinking was the same as Czar Chasm. No way Lamb is 4 times more likely to win. And if Sinclair picks up a big hand early and chips up to around 40 million, I would go so far as to say he's the favorite from there.

Imagine he doubles in the first couple orbits and you have him at 35/1

So who's in the wrong Ruane v Piccioli? I saw the stare from Ruane but that comment afterwards from Piccioli was also douchy. Also, what did Hesp say to Piccioli after he made that comment?

Piccioli never makes that comment if Ruane walks over to him before the runout and says "good luck" like almost any set of friends would do. OK, maybe Ruane doesn't want to do that in the moment. That's fine. But the death stare sealed the deal I'm sure for Piccioli. This is every bit Piccioli's moment as it could have been/was for Ruane.

He did say he wasn't a folder. I can definitely see him making a big mistake at some point like he did vs Ott.

Mostly it was a scheduling/logistics issue. If I understand correctly, it had something to do with tearing down and/or setting up a new stage. The end of the 50K was scheduled too close to the start of the Main Event which they had committed to streaming on Day 1.

He played shorthanded to get to the FT dude. He survived more than 7000 and something players, so I am pretty sure he can survive 8 more.
