I hope Messina and Oliveira make the final table. Based on the very little weve seen of them so far, they seem like the wildcard fearless types and those type of players always create some fireworks. It's unlikely they will both make it though because they are seating next to each other and will probably be battling for pots all day on the tertiary table.

So my dream final table would be those 2 plus Ruane, Saout, Lamb, Hesp. After that maybe Pham, depending how he handles this chip lead. Luske would be great but he needs some double ups.

Lamb is scary good. It seems like he can just will other players to do what he wants, call when he has it and fold when he doesn't. Perhaps he's a master at false tells or subtle body language manipulation. I've played against some names at Parx and was never intimidated, but I'd shy away from Lamb.

Yes. He kind of blew it in 2011. Didn't expect Stasko to be ready to take such a massive flip. If he makes it that far again he won't make the same mistake

Wow, watching some of these old clips...
I kind of forgot how terrible poker used to be.

Seems virtually impossible for more than 1 bad player to make the final 27 anymore. Too many wizards out there.

really going to soak up the enjoyment of watching the pokergo coverage tonight with Ali and Shulman. They are SO good.

On the flip side we have to hear the brutal combo of Norman, Lon and Antonio for the final table. They need to retire with dignity and make Ali/Shulman the new "voices" of the main event.

Czech Rep (Stazko) Russia(Demidov) and U.K. have main event runner ups. Portugal, Argentina have never had a final table participant. France has had a 3rd place (Saout) and 4th place finisher (Loosli). Netherlands had a 3rd place finisher (Van Hoof)

Watching an amatuer is a breath of fresh air. Some think if he wins it will have a moneymaker effect. It's fun to watch him because of his unorthodox style.

And I have a Math Major from a BIG 10 University. You don't need to calculate pot odds and all this other nonsense....If you have the best hand BET....If you got the worst hand FOLD!
