There is no version of Antonio coming up with a new phrase on commentary.

I've always thought so as well, I first heard him when he did play by play of the main event over his cell phone. I forgot how I listened, either there was an internet connection or I called in.

Anyone else remember this and listened (I think it was the 2000 ME)?

Stacks were perfect for Ruane to 4 bet there. Definitely prefer flatting against someone that is capable.

Pretty ridiculous look for Michael. Don't really want to root for someone hopes and dreams to be crushed but he's going to be super tilting to watch if he goes deep.

I personally think it's a cool fashion look. Upsheka De Silva did it a lot during a main event. Kind of resembles wearing a mask around your mouth and nose.

i think one improvement they could make for days 2a/b, 2c, 3, 4 and 5 going forward would have fans vote for one of the featured tables to start the day (give them 4 or 5 options in the vote).
Is pretty nice to get 85 -> 1. I guess I get not wanting make the commentators do 12+ hours of coverage everyday for a week and a half and maybe going with a pre-dinner and post-dinner commentary team is cost prohibitive (they are getting paid right??). I like going day 1s for the start but I'd much prefer they drop the first two levels of coverage days 2-5 in order to get the post-dinner levels.

You've been on 2+2 for 10 years. Did you sign up when you were 5?

You do know that the world is bigger than the USA and not everyone has access to ESPN?

This is false. Men have better spatial awareness and better reaction times. That doesn't mean there won't be outliers but for the most part these activities will continue to he dominated by men. (and there's nothing wrong with that.)

That AA vs. KQs hand and Kim tanking is why I love this part of the ME so much. The players are so close - they can taste $1M+ and possible poker fame. It adds so much weight to everything.

Neither of those have anything to do with poker.

what's with the lack of rails?

I remember Lamb having a huge drunken rail in both his last deep runs. Here there's no one.

Also where are the Brits for Silver?

I was referring to pro gaming but I see my wording was poor as it sounds like I included poker.

But for poker, men are more competitive and they represent a large majority of the higher end of intelligence. (although the latter is likely a lesser factor as tournament poker isn't at all like chess)

The biggest factor imo is simple. Men and women have different interests.

good players but bad personalities.

Need someone with a little bit of life and pizazz. Hopefully Marcel Luske continues to run deep.
