I'm glad PAD comes back but if it's only to show the same heads than 10 years ago, it will be dull, IMO.
Some entertaining oldschool pros should be in the mix that's for sure, but I'd like to see some other regular players who are less known or totally unknown.
Some guys from LATB for example : Bear Jew, Limon, Keef, Israeli Ron...these guys bring incredible action at the table.
I don't want to see "good" poker, I want to see chips burning on the table !

Putting together the right mix of players is such an art for a TV poker show. It's like combat sports, where styles make fights yet personalities make ratings.

A formula of
-two old school live pros (recognizable to casual viewers)
-two whales (emphasis how they became rich)
-one internet wizard (explain their move from low stakes to high stakes)
-one talkative online wizard (relatable to extroverted viewers who might feel -that they too can be good players)
-one celebrity player (show their love of the game, casual people can relate to a celebrity in that they are generally novice players)
-one notorious obnoxiously talkative player (stirs the pot and keeps the talk going)

Remember these TV shows are entertainment, if you want to watch the very best battle it out, you can watch poker stars. This is about entertainment and attracting fresh faces to the game
