Current chip counts.

Matt Berkey 272k

Williams 188k
Matusow 143k
Kassouff 53k
JRB 41k

IMO the stacks are currently ranked in accordance with skill level haha

limped J4o no h Polk checks. 964hhx Polk checks Hellmuth 800 into 1200 Polk makes it 3500 Hellmuth calls. Turn Jx bringing two-tone Polk bets some amount leaving him about a psb otr and Hellmuth jams Polk folds.

2 1/2 hrs for the first elimination - guess is this structure more on the slow side? At this rate, they may be playing until dawn?

This post is partially correct. The "old PAD" showed every hand, including walks in the blinds and raise-and-take-it hands. You might be thinking of High Stakes Poker, which was the more traditional highlight-reel type of show. (But oh, what highlights.)

However, PAD had much of the unnecessary pauses edited out. So this would include breaks in general, but also saw perhaps a 60-second tank get trimmed down to 20 ticks (still long enough to convey the thinking process, but short enough not to encourage a channel change).

Still, your overall post is right: a minute of new PAD is not the same as old PAD.

He's basically 99.8% wrong

Coverage on new PAD last around 6 hours with several 15 minute breaks. Say it's 5 hours of coverage filmed.

With commercials each PAD is about 45 minutes. So they do some small editing to cut it down

So they did film three weeks worth of PAD

My bad, I didn't realize that's all that was shot... just figured it was what got archived.

who is this Berkey fish, first time I heard of him, calls a cold 4bet with KQ and hits his K on the flop, calls a preflop raise in the blinds with 63 offsuit, the flop come 245. Poker is so beautiful, anyone can win at this game.

It's this response that excuses the lackluster production quality that PokerGo is streaming out. It's funny, because I jumped to Twitch to watch the LIVE STREAM of Polk v. PH and that was way better production quality/audio than PAD. How hard is it to get audio correct?

So before you go being a dickhead why don't you check out the other streams and evaluate. PokerGo isn't the first company to stream live. Their just the first company to do it consistently on a weekly basis. You would think that they would have this all figured out by now. The fact that they have subscribers and are putting out bad production quality material is disappointing to say the least.

So Berkey owns only 33 percent of his action in high stakes cash games. And has had runbad of 5 million downswing.

How do some of these people get to the top and how does this guy manage to not be broke?

Berkey seemed like the worst player, especially when it got to three handed.

BTW it was TL;DW so who won (Berkey ?!? Lol) ?

Honestly, I know it's kinda flogging a dead horse in talking about how bad Hellmuth is, but how is he actually so bad and has won so much? Watching him play HU vs Doug Pork just makes me angry, he has the skill level of a 10nl grinder. You can her Jungleman just cringing inside at every hand. He seems to have no idea of his perceived own range, how to mix in combos of bluffs, which cards are good to barrel etc... He plays so weak tight it's unbelievable.

I guess back in the day he ran really well and was ahead of the curve, and now he crushes this big live MTTs because of who he is (I'm sure a huge edge comes from amateurs playing terribly against him because of who he is).

Perhaps you do not know enough to know what you are seeing or what's really important to winning live consistently over near two decades. That's certainly as plausible an explanation as what you offered.
