He kept telling us that he has $250,000 more behind so gamble it up.
He then moved to Table 19 a 1/2 NL game where his stick was to move all in for $100 blind every hand and if he won he would let it ride next hand. I followed him to Table 19 .. I love his action.
He then tried playing on the 2/5NL Table 11 and the 1/2 NL on Table 19 at the same time and he tips so heavy the floor people do not say anything except "No Problem" ... then he got bored on Table 19 and quit the 1/2 NL.
I followed him again to Table 11 but by the time I got there he got bored and quit all together. He drinks bunches of Pepsi then He has the waitress bring him 2 6 packs of Corona cartons filled with Fiji water instead of Corona. 12 Bottles of water to 1 person at once. Did I say he tips well? I believe he left about 3 1/2 racks down in about 2.5 hours ... He said that he would rather give the money to poker players instead of the casino in the pits... God Bless his way of thinking. He did take about 8 bottles of water with him when he left. (Is that $700 a bottle? )

Re: Who is Crazy Mike? And what's his game?
That's Teddy Monroe, he usually plays mid/high stakes LHE but I saw him in the 10/20 NLHE at the Bellagio (Please, no Phil Laak jokes), which is unusual and probably pretty juicy. Assuming you played with him there isipil?

Re: Who is Crazy Mike? And what's his game?
crazy mike has told me he's very confident he can differentiate, in a blind taste-test, between coke, pepsi, diet coke, diet pepsi, cherry coke, cherry pepsi, and several other types of coke/pepsi that i can't recall immediately. propbet4rollz anyone?

He said that he thought the 'stipulations' were 'ridiculous'.
I questioned why he thought the 'conditions' were 'unreasonable'.
But yeah, you're probably right; those two statements are nothing alike.
Will you be my reading coach?

I will not play higher at this point because I like Bank roll management and do not have the roll for the ridiculous stipulations Hoss TBF and others have set to play LIVE which I understand. Why would you want to play me a 50 big bet freezeout for 20K when you play 1k-2k online.
|
the stipulations are "ridiculous" not from the perspective of "hoss and others"--they're ridiculous to crazy mike because the stakes would be too big for him. however, he "understands" why hoss would want those stipulations, as it'd be a waste of hoss's time to play that small.
has this cleared up the ideas conveyed in those two sentences for you yet? or are you still confused?

Re: Who is Crazy Mike? And what's his game?
I interpreted the second part differently the first time through because of an oversight.
I'm pretty much wrong here, but i do think it was awkwardly worded. I was under the impression that mike was pushing for a 50/100 challenge.
So when he said "why would you want to play me 200/400" it sounded more like he was trying to question what difference it makes if hoss is playing 50/1 or 2/4 since theyre both considerably below his ordinary game.

Re: Who is Crazy Mike? And what's his game?
Met him in Macau. Talked to him for a fair while.
He played Terrence Chen headsup in a few FLHE freezeouts.
Both super nice guys actually.
Crazy Mike is just a poker player who talks a lot of smack. Very nice guy.

The modern golf shoe will not damage your floormatts. There is no acceptable time for socks and sandles. May I suggest a indoor/outdoor slipper for the quick runs to the course or liquer store if you must wear socks.
