There was one dude who use to absolutely crush the cash games.. think he was one of the first to put out training videos also.

He'd just sit at a table full of super agro players and let them do all the betting. If he had pocket aces he'd let them raise, let them bet the flop, let them bet the turn and let them bet the river and then finally he'd

Tourny poker JohnnyBax was near the top at that time. BelowAbove(Kevin Saul) was an agro guy I liked to watch as well.

There was a limit guy, Pullkugen (spelling may be off a bit) that was pretty good on some smaller sites. No idea if he played on the bigger sites or what his screen name was if he did.

Love The_Terrorist clip as well that was posted. Ive been playing that clip for years when Im running bad and need a little pick me up.

well since the online poker boom officially didn't start until about 2002/03 with the premiere of the WPT, you are probably not going to find many superstar online players from 1999-200o's - unless you are strictly speaking about Paradise Poker as it was the only poker room in operation in 1999

I actually think Erick Lindgren might have been the first to make $1,000,000 online. Phil Hellmuth wrote it in his first book, "Play Poker like the pros". Erick Lindgren (Alias: TICKLE). Already $1 million ahead playing online poker.

When it comes to Euro Sites like Ladbrokes: TheSalmon (Erik123) crushed the fixed limit tables. Dared crushed the NL tables. But several of the swedes cheated though, they co-operated through MSN.

I remember prahlad friedman as a top dog in HUNL. I used to play ring w Lars Luzak (Sami Kelipor sp?) from Finland on pokerroom.com and he was sick. So was Patrick Antonius at HUHU limit. This was in like 2005, so towards the end of the era mentioned OP. Whatever happened to Erik123? He was good at a bunch of games iirc.
