Someone asked me the other day if i spend much time online and I said too much and the first thing he asked is if i play starcraft. wtf

This isn't that complicated folks.

Being successful at starcraft requires:

Being smart, fast thinker, analytical/strategic thinking, playing ridiculous hours [insert joke about no sex LDO], competitive, etc.

Clearly an overlapping skill-set with that and online poker. It's pretty much an assumed certainty that if you're really good at starcraft you'll be good at poker -- unless you are good at starcraft only from mimic'ing a buncha stuff you copied from other people, but hey, that'll probalby work in poker too.
